On Saturday January 13th Boy Band partnered up with the app, Live.me - performing in a New York subway station, where the whole set was live streamed on the app! We ended up with over 3,000 people listening in! Throughout the 16th - 25th, we'll be taking part in a Live.me contest where bands and artist will be streaming sets. The musician with the most views will get a chance to play at Live.me's pop-up and win up to $10,000.
Very excited to be working with the talented and dedicated cast of "I Hate Hamlet" at Lyndhurst Mansion in Tarrytown, NY, as the fight choreographer and director. Rehearsals are well underway and the actors playing Andrew and Barrymore are such a joy to direct in this swashbuckling, rapier fight scene.
As we get down to the final edits of our debut EP recordings, Boy Band has been playing lots of cool shows including Pianos, Rockwood Music Hall, Sidewalk Cafe, and the Way Station. We've had such a fun time writing, perfecting and performing our songs and cannot wait to share it with everyone when "Begin" our five song EP is released Spring 2017.
Above are some photos from shows, and below is a live session of our original song "Paper Cuts", filmed and recording by Jackson Hoffman.
Summer was super busy! So many fun things.
I miss telling Kayleen and Doug's touching story every night in Gruesome Playground Injuries, at Theatre Lab NY with Outlet Ensemble's first production. If you missed it here are some photos taken by Stephanie Spengeman Photography! I've been playing shows and preparing to record our first EP with Boy Band, and just graduated Improv 301 at UCB with a hysterically talented class.
Rehearsals are in full swing for one of my favorite modern plays, "Gruesome Playground Injuries", with Outlet Ensemble at Theatre Lab NY. Kayleen is a character I've been hoping to give life to for a long time and now I'm thrilled to be able to do so. Tickets for July 1-3rd are available now!

Autumn and Winter have been busy! I've gotten the opportunity to play at notable New York venues such as Pianos, Silvana, The Shrine & The Bowery Electric. I've met many talented musicians along the way and began recording my five song EP, "Everything Sucks Until It Doesn't".
Episode 2, guest starring Max Schuster, featuring music by Ana Dratz, is here!
Episode One, "Haley Cleans Up Her Act" is here! Take a look!
My new web series, "Really We're Trying", is coming to YouTube & Funny or Die in July! I created the series, which stars Marymount Manhattan College alumni and great friends, Dunya Karam, Sergio Marroquin, and myself! The comedic series follows a charming narcissist & her two roommates endure chaos and misadventures in order to make their rent in New York. Here's the official preview!
I'm so excited to be playing at one of New York's coolest venues, Pianos, on July 12th at 7pm with the very talented and charismatic, Travis Crowley!
I just returned from Austin, TX where I played a series of shows with Heather LaRose! While our names are similar, we are not related, BUT I got to play ukulele and backing vocals for the very talented songwriter at Texas IndieFest & the Cherrywood Coffee House, where I even was able to share some original work of my own with Austin audiences. During the day I dusted off my cowboy boots and strut down 6th Street, where all the incredible live music of SXSW took place (walking in Manhattan with my cowboy boots just doesn't cut it, right!?) and ate lots of BBQ! Check out this awesome news feature about Heather LaRose making it down to Austin!
This was so cool! I played an in-store event for the dreamy and elegant, Hoss Intropia at Bloomingdales SoHo. I was also lucky enough to even be stylized by Hoss Intropia's, Ella Barnett! I set the atmosphere with acoustic covers and original songs for the kickoff of their Spring/Summer collection. The designs are so breezy, colorful and feminine!
