"Romeo + Juliet" Fight Direction

I'm honored to have worked on Friends of Muscoot Farm's Production of "Romeo + Juliet" as the fight choreographer and director. Shakespeare's "Romeo + Juliet" has four unique, thrilling fight scenes I was so excited to delve into. Mary Rogers, director of the Shakespeare on the Farm series, wanted to use knife and hand-to-hand combat, setting the production in a time that feels familiar, connecting the past to present. This production also takes the real-life setting of the Katonah farm, and incorporates it into the play, letting the Montagues and the Capulets be neighboring farmers. You can buy tickets for their production here.
