Theatre Classes & Youth Theatre Directing

HaleyJane is a proud theatre educator in New York and Westchester for Pre-K through High School age students. Receiving her BA from Marymount Manhattan College, she put a focus on courses in theatre education and drama therapy, where she developed her philosophy of teaching theatre techniques through play. HaleyJane provides instruction for children and teen theatre classes, monologue coaching, improvisation, and direction for full-length youth productions.

Adapted Theatre Group

Haley has day-to-day experience working with children and young adults on the Autism Spectrum, with learning disabilities, and neurological developmental delays. This adapted program uses theatre and movement based games and activities to encourage actors with special needs to better communicate and recognize emotions, engage in pretend play, exercise circumstantial scenarios to strengthen abstract thinking, and gain confidence in verbal and gestural communication. Haley combines the structure of a theatre class with relationship-based intervention technique, DIR Floortime, to bring fun and light to your after-school program, summer camp, or recreation center!
